Germany. Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom). Temple inaugurated in 1905. It was built by order of Emperor Wilhelm II (1859-1941) between 1894 and 1905, under the direction of German architect Julius Carl Raschdorff (1823-1914). Also known as the Evangelical Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church, it is a monumental German Protestant church and dynastic tomb (House of Hohenzollern). Architectural detail of the main facade. Mosaic depicting Jesus Christ as the healer of the sick, created by German painter Arthur Kampf (1864-1950) ca. 1920.
