John Collier (born January 28, 1850 in London, died April 11, 1934 in London), British writer and Pre-Raphaelite painter, his work here is: The Last Voyage of Henry Hudson (1881). Following a mutiny by his crew in 1611, Hudson, along with his son and a few loyal companions, was set adrift in a small boat in the Arctic ice.
