Wine vessel in the shape of the hieroglyph Fu. China. Kangxi period (1662-1723). State Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow. Hieroglyph Fu means ""happiness"". In the centre famous calligrapher Wang Xizhi (303-361). His herbal writing style, which hieroglyphs resembles stalks of grass. The painting is done in the classic ""green family"" range, the basis of which is two shades (warm and cold) of green enamel.
