Plate from the Yachtinsky service. Saint Petersburg. 1785-1787. Imperial Porcelain Factory. According to legend, the Yachtinsky service was made for Catherine II's voyage to Novorossiya and Crimea in 1787. The oval medallions on a blue background are symbols of the power and prosperity of the Russian fleet.
