Helmet. Manchuria. 1630. Modern researchers consider the helmet a monument to the diplomatic relations of the Russian state with Khotogoit (Mongolian people) at the beginning of the 17th Century, which included northwestern Mongolia and part of Southern Siberia. In 1637, the helmet was sent to Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich from Erdeni Dai Mergen Nanso, the spiritual mentor of the Khotogoit ruler Altan Khan. Moscow Kremlin museums.
