Légende
Scepter. Istanbul. 1638. According to legend, among the Monomakh regalia, a golden scepter with enamel of Emperor Constantine IX Monomakh. The legend is reproduced in the inventory of the late 18th century in the work of Malinovsky. There is another Legend that the scepter was brought to Moscow by Sophia Paleologus. Both legends are incorrect. Moscow Kremlin Museums.
