Children's armor. Russia. Mid-second half of the 17th century. Moscow Kremlin Museum. The authors of the first guidebooks to The Armoury Chamber (Svinin and Romanchikov), attributed the armor to the Grand Duke of Vladimir Dmitry Donskoy (1359-1389). According to legend, this armor was worn by Dmitry Donskoy on the Battlefield against his uncle, Prince Dmitry Konstantinovich of Suzdal. However, this legend is incorrect and later scientific works refute this.
