Icon. Apostle Peter and the Holy Martyr Eudocia. Moscow. 1689. Tempera on wood. The iconostasis of Tsarina Eudokia Feodorovna Lopukhina (1669-1731), the first wife of Peter I. It was located above the tomb of the Tsarina in the Smolensk Cathedral. It includes icons brought by the Tsarina as a nun from various monasteries. From Novodevichy Convent.
