The painting was in 1769 in the Royal Gallery of Stanislav August Poniatovskogo (the castle in Uyazde near Warsaw; from 1795 - in the Warsaw castle of Lazenki); since 1798 Joseph Poniatowski (Warsaw); since 1813 Countess Maria Teresa Tyshkiewicz; the last mention of the painting in Polish collections dates back to 1819; in the future in Russia; congregation of E.A. Naryshkina, born Kurakina (stepanovskoe-Volosovo estate). At the Pushkin Museum since 1930.
