Jacques-Guillaume Thouret (1746-1794). French revolutionary politician. Elected deputy to the Estates General in 1789 for the Third Estate of Rouen. He was elected president of the Constituent Assembly four times, but renounced to the first one on 3 August 1789. He was guillotined in Paris during the Reign of Terror. Portrait.
