Stanislas de Clermont-Tonnerre (Stanislas Marie Adelaïde, Count de Clermont-Tonnerre) (1757-1792). French military officer and politician, supporter of constitutional monarchy. He was elected in 1789 as the first deputy of the nobility of Paris to the Estates General. President of the National Assembly on two occasions in 1789. Portrait.
