Havana, Cuba. The new Machina at the San Fernando dock. On 21 November 1882, work was carried out to install the structure, of English construction, under the direction of the first boatswain of the Spanish Navy, Mr. Antonio Menjibar. It was a crane-tower used for the placement of masts and different rigging on ships. The dock was occupied by dependencies of the Spanish Navy. Engraving by Tomas Carlos Capuz.
