York Minster, in York, England, is the second-largest Gothic Cathedral in Europe. It is the seat of the archbishop of York, the second highest-ranking clergy in the Church of England. It stands on the site of a church first built in the A.D. 300s. The interior vaulting, seen here, was completed in 1360.
