The boy stays, prays to God when dark forces comes and survives. The princess helps him do his father's bidding, twice. The third chore from the father is for each son to find a wife. The boy goes back to the princess. That night, ghosts and vampires assail him (seen here), but he prays and survives. The princess marries him and they return to his father.
