In the Book of Genesis, Dinah is the seventh child and the only daughter of Leah and Jacob. The episode of the abduction of Dinah by Shechem, the son of a Canaanite or Hivite prince, and the subsequent revenge of her brothers Simeon and Levi, commonly referred to as the rape of Dinah, is recounted in Genesis, Historic, digitally restored reproduction from an original of the time.
