Oakland, California 1929 The champion cow-callers of the world are Mrs. Kate Meyer of Oakland, champion woman caller, in fact only woman cow-caller in the country, whose cow-coaxing voice can be heard for mile and a half; and Ben F. Howard of Brown's Station, Truckee Meadows, Nevada, is the champ. bovine-baritonizer, or Holstein-enticer, or cow-cajoler--for men or women whose call can be heard for a distance of two miles. They recently demonstrated their abilities at the Pacific Slope Dairy. Show held here in Oakland.
