Two European men stand on the deck of R.M.S. Mandingo, a temporary renaming of the more well known SS Appam after it was captured by the Germans in 1916 and subsequently returned to the British. Captioned in the negative: The "Hun strafer" on R.M.S. "Mandingo." On the stern. Taken about 500 miles north of S. Leone 13/3/19.
