Carmo Archaeological Museum. Founded in 1864 by Joaquim Possidonio da Silva (1806-1896), it is housed in the ruins of the former Carmo Convent (Convento do Carmo) the most important Gothic temple in the city until it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1755. Remains of the convent. Lisbon, Portugal.
