Légende

God Vighneshvara (a form of Ga?esa), beautifully dressed and bejeweled, seated on his vehicle, the bandicoot. In his upper right hand is an ankusha (elephant goad) and in his upper left a pasha (noose). In the lower right is his broken tusk and in his lower left a laddu (sweetmeats), which he nuzzles with his trunk. A prabhavali (ornamental arch) encircles his head. On his forehead is a tripundra (three horizontal lines). Further tripundras are on his chest and arms. The bandicoot has two chains with small bells around his neck and an embroidered saddlecloth.
