Mohini stands and looks at the ascetic Bhasmasura

Mohini stands in padasvastika and looks at the ascetic Bhasmasura beside her, being devoured by flames. He has long, matted hair and is seated in padmasana. Mohini towers over him, naked but for a shawl that conceals her lower abdomen. She wears a profusion of jewelry and elegant padukas (wooden clogs). In her right hand is an in-bloom rose, and in her left is a flower on which perches a parrot. On her head is an elaborate tiara crowned with two facing parrots, and numerous hairpins and golden studs decorate her long plait.
