Subrahmanya as Dandayudhapani, (Bearer of the Staff), within a small domed shrine, the walls encrusted with precious stones, against the rugged background of a hillock. Inside, the image of the deity stands in samabhanga on a low pedestal. In his right hand he carries a shakti (spear) and his left hand is in katyavalambita hasta. On his chest hangs a chain with pendants, and a thick garland surrounds his diminutive figure.
