Sadashiva, with five heads and five pairs of arms

Légende

Sadashiva, with five heads and five pairs of arms, seated in lalitasana on a throne. His matted hair is piled in jata makutas over the five heads. Tripundra marks enhance his foreheads. His central right hand is in abhaya and his central left in varada mudra. In his remaining right hands he carries the damaru (hourglass shaped drum), shakti (spear), a sword and ankusha (elephant goad); in his left hands are the mriga (gazelle), a short dagger (?), a buckler and an unidentified object.
