Légende

Krishna standing with his feet in padasvastika and playing the flute. Behind him a cow, wearing forehead and neck decorations, licks the sole of his slightly raised foot. Krishna is depicted as a blue complexioned, chubby child sporting an elaborate hairstyle, typical of his young age, his topknot decorated with jewelry, a peacock feather and a decorative pin topped by cascading strings of pearls. He wears a short garment tied by a girdle at the waist, another girdle adorns his hips and he wears many ornaments. An angavastra (shawl) is thrown over his left shoulder and a garland hangs from his neck. The foreground is brown-black.
