The Light of Western Stars (Paramount, 1930). Based on a Zane Grey novel, Richard Arlen stars as Dick Bailey, a ranch hand who is out for revenge when his friend is murdered by the corrupt businessman Stack (Fred Kohler). Perky star Mary Brian plays Ruth Hammond, the new owner of Bailey's ranch, who needs his help when Stack attempts to steal her property. .
