Légende

(11-21 Feb. 1997) --- Appearing suspended in the dark vastness of space, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) continues its separation from the Space Shuttle Discovery following its release from Discovery's cargo bay. This is the third in a series of post-release views recorded on 70mm film by the crewmembers. Five space walks were performed by two pairs of astronauts who alternated days of Extravehicular Activity (EVA) to service the giant orbiting observatory.
