Hydrologic Engineer Loaded with Field Equipment ca. 1920

Man loaded up with a variety of items for a day of field work. Our best guess at what parcels he may be carrying includes a surveying tripod in his left hand and a box containing a level. We suspect that the outer most box on the right is a current-meter box. The other box in his right hand is a match for the size and shape of a very early Gurley 'Dumpy' Level.
