Magic Lantern slide circa 1900 hand coloured. created in 1887. A tour of North Wales. In the Pass of Aberglaslyn.—This Pass ranks second to that of Llanberis, and is famous for its remarkable and romantic scenery. Just at this point we appear to be quite shut in with the road and river, and cannot help feeling awed at the grandeur which extends above and on either side of us ; so much so, that our friend, seated on the wall there, is evidently at a loss what to do, whether to go on and lose himself in further admira¬tion, or to go back and forfeit the pleasure.
