Magic Lantern slide circa 1900 hand coloured. created in 1887. A tour of North Wales. 2 Llandudno—the Beach and Pier.—Here of good boating here, and a sail round the Great Orme is very pleasant on a fine day, when the excursionist will find much to interest him in exploring the wonderful old sea caves, of which there are several under the before-named promontory. The sands are admirably adapted for bathing, and the water is perfectly clear;and as the beach declines only gradually,? bathers may venture in with greatest safety at any state of the tide. In the summer evenings a very good hand plays on the parade, which is thronged with a many- coloured crowd of visitors.
