Postcard 1900.Victorian/Edwardian.Social History.The firm of Misch & Stock began their postcard production in 1903. Two years later the name was changed to Misch & Co., when Stock retired. As fine art publishers, the quality of production was absolutely outstanding and well suited to the reproduction of paintings on postcards. Antonio Ciseri's Martyrdom of the Seven Maccabees (1863), depicting the woman with her dead sons.
