Workmen standing on the ledge of the Union Central Building throw flowers down on the passing streetcars in honor of the end of the streetcar traction strike. Only a few days before blocks of concrete and iron bars were thrown down by the strike sympathizers, demolishing one streetcar and narrowly avoiding injuring many people.
