Caption reads GLENTANNER STATION, CANTERBURY. SOMETIMES RIDING, AT OTHER TIMES WALKING WITH HIS HORSE, THE MUSTERER GATHERS UP SMALL MOBS OF SHEEP ROUND THE WIND-SWEPT RIDGES. THEY ARE HUNTED DOWN TO THE LOWER LEVELS TO FORM PART OF THE FULL MUSTER OF THE BLOCK. HERE MERINO HOGGETS ARE BROUGHT DOWN FROM THE TOPS THROUGH THE LONG SNOW GRASS. Mt.
