View of the head of Grauballe Man, Discovered in 1952, he was violently killed with a blow to his temple which fractured his skull and a cut to the throat from ear to ear. Possibly the victim of a sacrifice, he was perfectly preserved in the peat bog. Denmark. Pre Viking. 55 BC. Jutland.
