A pendant from the tomb of Tutankhamun, Two baboons with moon discs on their heads worship the sun god in scarab beetle form. He holds up a solar disc and all three sit inside a celestial boat which carries the sun and moon across the sky. Above and below are strips of lapis lazuli signifying sky and sea. Egypt. Ancient Egyptian. 18th dynasty c 1336 1327 BC. West Thebes.
