Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh-ville. Le musee des Beaux-Arts. Ici, un dessin realise sur le front par l'artiste Pham Thanh Tam -pseudo Huynh Biec. Conçu par l’architecte français Rivera en 1929 dans un batiment melant architectures coloniale et asiatique, puis construit en 1934 pour etre a l’origine la maison et le siege de l’entreprise chinoise Hua Bon Hoa, ce musee des Beaux-Arts presente des œuvres anciennes et contemporaines d'artistes vietnamiens. Notamment une collection exceptionnelle de peintures et dessins lies a la guerre d'Indochine contre les Francais, puis a celle contre les Americains.

Designed by the French architect Rivera in 1929 in a building blending colonial and Asian architectural styles, and later constructed in 1934 as the original home and headquarters of the Chinese company Hua Bon Hoa, this Museum of Fine Arts presents both historical and contemporary works by Vietnamese artists.
