In the foreground, five men in period clothing stand and engage: one man on the left holds a small object toward the central figures, wearing a coat, knee breeches, and buckled shoes with a sword at his side; three men on the right wear ornate coats and wigs, standing in attentive poses; a seated man behind a chair and table looks on, his hand extended. The room features decorative wall panels and an oval ornamental medallion hanging on the wall. Furniture includes carved chairs and a table partly covered by cloth. The engraving displays fine crosshatching and line work throughout.
