Leaf from a book with a publisher's address, book illustration, text sheet, publisher: Nicolaes van Ravesteyn, Amsterdam, 1636, Nicolaes van Ravesteyn, publisher, paper, letterpress printing, text in letterpress on recto and verso, height 120 mm x width 64 mm, A vertical aged paper page with printed lines of dark ink text and ornamental rows; the top shows a block of cursive-like type followed by a short centered line in bold type, then a larger spaced word in uppercase type, below which is a decorative horizontal band of repeated floral or acorn motifs above a thin rule. Further down the sheet is another centered line in stylized script with a hand-drawn appearance, underlined by a thicker rule, and near the bottom is a second decorative band mirroring the first. The paper shows slight discoloration, faint stains, and a textured grain throughout.
