The description is, 1609., A black and white engraved figure of a bearded man wearing a helmet and a draped cloak that falls over one shoulder, with a patterned breastplate visible beneath the cloak and a short tunic extending to mid-thigh, standing with one arm bent and holding a sword or staff near his shoulder while the other arm hangs at his side; he wears strapped greaves on his lower legs and sandals with detailed toes, and he stands on a textured ground with tufts of grass and small stones; the background is a plain mottled surface and there are small decorative marks near the edges of the image.
