Inside, a standing older man in a long coat and tall hat leans on a cane and grasps his hands together while facing a seated younger man. The seated man reclines on a chair with one leg extended and rests his elbow on a barrel, holding a cloth to his face. Nearby are simple wooden chairs, a woven basket hanging by the doorway, a rope coil on the floor, and a paneled half-door casting a diagonal patch of light. The scene is monochrome with detailed hatching and crosshatching throughout.
