The figures wear knee-length coats and breeches and are depicted in active running and gesturing poses, some leaning forward, some with arms extended. A small dog appears on the ground among the figures. The architecture includes steep roofs, a central steep spire, and varied rooflines rising against the textured sky. The overall image is monochrome with detailed line work and dense shading.
