Two figures at the left wear puffed sleeves and hats, one holding a plucked lute-like instrument and the other leaning in with a cup. A woman with braided hair sits between them, hands resting on the table, while a young man in a pleated garment stands to the right holding a large cup and pointing at an open book on the table. A kneeling figure with a feathered hat seen from behind plays a wind instrument. A carved stone block at the far right supports a jug and the head of an antlered animal. The table surface bears small objects and sheet music, and benches with cushioned tops support the seated figures. The scene is richly textured with crosshatching and fine line work.
