Numbered lower left: 24., printmaker: Master of the Dice, Italy, after design by Michiel Coxie (I), c. 1530 - c. 1560, paper, engraving, intaglio printmaking technique, engraving with plate tone, height 197 mm x width 228 mm, A monochrome engraving shows a landscape with rocky ground, scattered plants, and a distant town, a tall cylindrical tower with a conical roof near the center, and trees with detailed foliage. In the foreground two draped female figures stand close together, one partially nude with a cloth over her shoulder and the other in a flowing garment holding a shallow bowl; a large ornate vessel rests at their feet. To the left a figure in a simple long robe gestures outward from the base of the tower while another figure in a short dress leans forward on a path toward the robed person. Clouds and striated sky fill the upper left, and various bushes and tree trunks occupy the middle ground.
