Therefore, the same stone was probably not used, but Koekkoek's print was copied., snow, barn, A monochrome drawing shows a rocky ledge with rough stacked stone blocks forming a low structure and a taller cylindrical stone feature set back on an upper slope, rendered with shaded textures. In the foreground there are several gnarly tree stumps and trunks with broken branches and exposed roots, some leaning against the stone blocks and one standing taller with sparse twigs. Grasses and low vegetation grow around the base of the stumps and along the edge of the ledge, and there is a small horizontal stick lying on the ground in front. The sky above is softly shaded and the overall scene is composed of fine pencil or charcoal lines and stippling creating contrasts between light and shadow.
