Large leafy trees with detailed foliage occupy the right side and center, with smaller trees and shrubs scattered on the left and midground. Rolling hills and distant landforms extend toward the horizon beneath a sky with wispy clouds and a few flying birds. In the foreground a seated human figure faces the water while another figure stands further back on a path leading past the temple.
