These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards, pastorals, Arcadian scenes, group dancing, nymphs (in general), 'Ninfe in commune' (Ripa), satyr(s) (in general), lake - HH - ideal landscapes, A sepia-toned drawing shows a landscape with large trees on the right, their branches and foliage extending across the upper area, and a cluster of trees on a small hill toward the center. A body of water lies in the middle ground with a rocky shoreline and distant hills on the left. In the foreground a group of nude and partially draped figures stand and sit along the water’s edge, some walking in a line and others gathered in small clusters, with two reclining animals nearby. Two seated figures on a raised stone platform appear beside a tree on the right while several other figures interact on the slope and near the shore. Clouds fill the sky above, with linear shading suggesting rain or movement, and a few small birds are visible near the treetops. The overall composition is rendered with fine pen lines and wash, creating textured foliage, rocky ground, and reflected details in the water.
