In the foreground a variety of people engage in activities near a stone platform, including some seated, some standing, and a pair of figures bending over a wooden frame beside a cylindrical object. To the right a cluster of seated and standing figures occupy a grassy area under large trees with dense foliage. The middle distance reveals a river crossed by an arched bridge and buildings with tower-like structures, with small groups of people visible along the water. Rolling hills and distant mountains form the background beneath a sky filled with layered clouds and several flying birds. Various trees with detailed leaves frame the composition, and scattered objects and vegetation lie on the ground in the immediate foreground.
