These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards., landscape with ruins, shipwreck, sea (seascape), storm at sea, A sepia-toned seascape showing choppy waves and swirling surf beneath a sky filled with large billowing clouds and a few flying birds, a tall sailing ship with furled sails near a rocky shoreline where a ruined tower stands atop jagged cliffs, small boats moored or stranded by the rocks, and three figures on the shore pulling on a rope while one crouches nearby.
