There may be another state of this print that appeared between the two mentioned states in an unknown publication., church (exterior), parts of church exterior and annexes: tower, Middelburg, Lange Jan, Koorkerk, Nieuwe Kerk (Middelburg), A detailed pen-and-ink architectural view of a large church with a tall central tower rising above a long roofed nave, the tower featuring a clock face and a stepped spire topped by an ornamental finial, flanked by arched windows and buttresses; the church sits behind a row of leafless trees and adjacent to rows of multi-story gabled townhouses with varied rooflines and small dormer windows; in front of the church a wide open street shows horse-drawn carriages, small groups of walking figures and a dog, while the sky above is filled with finely hatched clouds and a flowing ribbon banner across the top.
