This map was used in Halma's Tooneel der Vereenigde Nederlanden (1725) and can probably be found in part 1, p. 1b., maps of separate countries or regions, Father Time, man with wings and scythe, Roman period in the Netherlands, Batavians, Frisians, Netherlands, Friesland, An aged map printed in black ink on a light beige background showing coastlines, rivers, lakes, and numerous border lines with clusters of small pictorial trees and stylized hills; the upper left contains a decorative cartouche with two classical robed figures, one holding a long curved tool and the other gesturing toward the cartouche, and behind them are three small standing figures and a ship mast; the map surface is filled with fine engraved markings indicating settlements and topography, with dotted patterns along some coast edges and scattered tiny building symbols and circular seals, and a round red stamp near the lower right area.
