Amsterdam: Hendrik Bosch, 1721., castle, Muiden, Muiderslot, An engraved scene showing a riverside fortress with multiple towers and crenellated walls, rendered in fine lines and hatching; a tall round tower with a conical roof stands near the center, flanked by other turreted structures and a gated bridge or wooden walkway extending over the water; trees with detailed foliage frame both sides of the composition, their branches arching inward; in the foreground on the right a small rowboat with three silhouetted figures floats by the shore; the water surface is indicated by horizontal engraved lines and reflections, and architectural textures and shading are created with parallel and cross-hatched strokes.
