In 1721, an edition appeared containing only the prints: Nederlandsche oudheden, bestaan in zesachtig verbeeldingen, gelegen in Holland, 't Sticht van Utrecht en Gelderland enz. Amsterdam: Hendrik Bosch, 1721., ruin of church, monastery, landscape with ruins (city(-scape) with figures, staffage), Delft, Carthusian monastery 'Saint Bartholomew in Jerusalem', A detailed ink drawing of a large ruined stone building with tall broken walls, arched openings, and a vaulted interior visible through a collapsed section, rendered with fine parallel hatching; fragments of window tracery remain in one wall and rounded arches appear in several places; rubble and large fallen blocks lie in the foreground among uneven ground; three small human figures stand near the ruins, one holding a long stick and another seated on a fallen column, with a small dog nearby; a few birds scatter across a lined sky above the structure.
